My Project

My little Pre-K super stars are blending and segmenting CVC and CVCe words pretty good. My goal for this project, to help them become proficient readers before they get to Kindergarten. The selected books will provide opportunities for practice and build confidence with their reading skills. They are really special because they are enthusiastic about reading and learning! We have limited resources in our classroom library. The collection of book that were selected are age-appropriate and address targeted skills. They engage in literacy throughout the day, they pick up books just to look at pictures to tell about the story but with the selected collection of books they will be able to actually read the words. Being able to read the words would make them so happy!
