Sensory Corner! No Noise, No Distractions!

Help me give my students with sensory issues a quiet space to tune out all the noise and distractions, reset and continue with their education.

My Project

There are times where my students that have major sensory issues have an extremely difficult time taking exams, concentrating to complete work during free time. The noise canceling headphones all these students to block out all the noise and helps them be able to focus without even the smallest noise from doing their best. Fidgets and stress relievers allow them to be able to release built up stress and anxiety during lessons and even exams by keeping their hands busy. Finally the board games give them something to look forward too during their free time to destress or if they are removed from class because their inability to concentrate due to all the distractions, something to allow them to calm down, forget about what got them going in the first place and set them into a calming mood they can take back to class and achieve the goals they are striving for.

The students I have with the sensory issues are very intelligent but their inability to focus or destress when needed keep them from achieving their educational goals that they are more than smart enough to get to.

We help those who have learning disabilities, why not protect and nurture those who have sensory issues too?
