This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a new 2nd grade teacher this year. Expanding our class library with more options to read will allow students to earn more AR points, and feel more motivated to read. I have a few students who struggle with sitting still and I believe that having the wobble chairs will allow those students to stay focus during instruction or independent work. I also added toys to the list, because our class has a treasure box that students earn from earning trophies from Exact Path or AR points. I just want to make our space a comfortable, and motivating environment for my students.
