Learning STEMs From Collaboration!

Help me give my students comfortable fitting headphones, stylus pens, liquid motion toys, and an additional wobble stool to observe and explore the scientific and mathematical world around them.

My Project

My fourth graders are tuned in to learning! Curious, clever, creative, confident...the list goes on and on! Technology tools help my learners every day in many ways. They love to get cozy and read a book and play board games too, but when it comes to learning, tech tools are a necessity. As a tuned in teacher, I realize technology tools are a necessity to guide my fourth graders as they tune in to learning!

Quality headphones are a game changer when it comes to our computer-based learning programs, assessments, and Mystery Science.

As a teacher I feel fortunate to have comfortable headphones to lend to my students to plug in to do their best. With more students in my class this year, I'm hoping to get a handful of headphones to be able to provide for all learners.

My goal as an educator is to give everyone an equal opportunity to participate, feel comfortable, and thrive in our learning environment. I want my students to see themselves as self-advocates, decision-makers, and problem-solvers in all they do including choosing where and with whom to sit. Seating options for collaborative work in STEM and science lessons help my learners see themselves as part of the team as they work together to make discoveries and learn from one another. Stools we can move from here to there make working together possible!

Lastly, the penguin motion toys will be rewards to celebrate successes in math as my students meet the milestone of helping JiJi complete their journey on ST Math! Thank you for helping us on our adventures in learning!
