This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is getting close to the end of the school year but we are not slowing down at all. My children have come so far this year that it is so very exciting. The children have grown as thinkers and doers.

The books writing journals have been used for writing and science and we are running out of space, the book pouches allow them to take everything they need home with them, and the laminator will allow us to laminate and showcase the children's work.

Many people have come into our classroom and have seen that when the students have access to what they need, they are so much more productive.

I can not ask families to purchase supplies so it is up to me to ensure that they have what they need to succeed.

Having students have book pouches so that they can bring supplies home and bring them back really eliminates lose of work. We also want to have a laminator so that I can laminate work for there centers but also so that I can display work that they have really worked hard on.
