Unleashing Our iPad into 21st Century Learning

My students need a multimedia receiver and wireless-n router in order to unleash our iPad we worked so hard to earn as a class.

My Students

Are you claustrophobic? My students are stuffed in a classroom waiting for you to unleash their iPad into the 21st Century and beyond.

My students are juniors and seniors at a semi-rural high school.

They love working with technology to see the world around them; however, with state budget cuts and failing bonds and levies, they are stuck inside a brick and mortar classroom. My students show their passion for the issues and problems around them through various projects in my classroom. They will succeed or part of me has failed.

My Project

I am asking for two products which will directly impact my students. We have already worked hard to get a classroom iPad (hopefully getting a class set in the future through grants) and now we are trying to use it to its fullest extent. The Apple router will enable us to upgrade the wireless Internet in my classroom to a speed capable of streaming high quality content from the internet to the screen. The Apple TV multimedia receiver will allow us to navigate the content which can broaden their knowledge on history, government, and the world around them.

My 150 students will be able to break free from the walls of my classroom with your funding.

They will be more readily equipped to contribute to their community and the world around them. They will be forever grateful for your contribution to unleashing the iPad!
