This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
What I love about my students:
1.
The fact that even on my worst of days my students can cheer me up instantly
2. When my students boost my confidence with their unconditional love and compliments every day.
3. Most Importantly, these kids have changed who I am and who I strive to be. Patience, acceptance, cultural differences, similarities in children around the world, the simplicity of being a kind and generous person, and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone to grow.
My Project
These books will make a huge difference in my classroom! As a student, I fell in love with reading by diving into the wizarding world that J.K. Rowling beautifully illustrated with words. So many concepts of reading and writing will be implemented in a creative and engaging way for students to learn and live within the characters! We just need a class set of thirty books to begin this amazing journey together. Hopefully, with a flick of a very generous wizard's wand, we will be able to make memories while we read TOGETHER! Thank you for making a difference in our lives!
