My Students

My diverse set of students all have a huge drive to learn. Coming from all backgrounds, they always seek out new knowledge and opportunities and strive to overcome the barriers put in front of them.

They are some of the most resilient people I have ever met and each one has an intrinsic dream.

As the inaugural class of computer science students at my school site, these students are working to gain college credit without having sufficient resources and necessary class infrastructure/technology which would make it easy for them to succeed. Despite these obstacles, my students have shown remarkable promise in the field of STEAM. Their passion and drive with student-led activities proves that they will be the leaders of tomorrow.

My Project

Computer Science Principles is a very new AP course, having only been around for two years. Unfortunately, rigorous and comprehensive AP Test preparation books and materials are not yet available for widespread use for this course. In the past, we have resorted to reviewing a single preparation book that I found to be quite convoluted and unfortunately very unlike the actual College Board test.

Albert.io is innovative software that can help my students effectively prepare for the difficult Computer Science Principles AP Test that they will take in May 2018.

With this test prep license, my students will be able to take numerous practice tests and complete useful learning modules that will ensure that they will have the knowledge they need to pass the AP test. In fact, not only will they be prepared to pass, they will really be prepared to excel!
