Boom Whackers for a Boomin' Time

My students need Boom Whackers for our music classroom. Boomwhackers are a reusable instrument that all grades will use to utilize and expand on learned skills. This allows for students to branch out in melodic skills.

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have a very special and ambitious group of music students! My classroom is a unique environment where students can make a masterpiece together. My classroom has so many opportunities for them to build skills for the rest of their lives, such as team work, leadership, multitasking, performance, professionalism, and so much more!

Skills students learn in music are such a great asset for their futures as a student and as a future citizen.

My class reaches so many different types of students. This classroom environment is like that of no other. I want to give them life long memories and skills.

My Project

These Boom Whackers will provide an amazing impact on student learning in the music classroom. They allow for melodic instruction, execution, and improv for students.

These Boom Whackers will be utilized by all music student no matter the age or ability!

Each tube has its own pitch. Younger and beginning students can use these as their first melodic experience. As students advance in skills they can play more complex music and have more than one boom whacker. These reusable materials will benefit 500+ students every year! They can provide performances for the school & community as well. These instruments are great for all situations!
