I teach pre-kindergarten in a suburban area in Oklahoma. Four-year-olds are so excited about school and are even more excited about learning.

My students are very hands on which is great... most of the time! During group learning they need to have a special place just for themselves that allows them to listen and learn without disruption.

This carpet will help so much in our learning process. It will allow us to learn boundary and personal space, with each marked sitting area. It will help us learn how to identify and write our alphabet which is very important in becoming a successful reader. It will also allow their patience and attention span to grow.

You can help these young children learn very important academic and social skills. I know a carpet doesn't sound very exciting, but I know that it will improve my classroom a great deal. We can practice colors, shapes,letters, and personal space. More importantly we can dance, play and have fun all together!
