My students need 20 hands-on tools such as Make-a-Match Phonics Games, learning center CDs, and Word Detective Sliders. These are just a few of the activities needed to increase and expand on the kindergarten skills they need for continual growth throughout their education.
Hola! I teach kindergarten at a Title 1 school in a high need English Language Learning community. I love teaching kindergarten, especially at such an age where they absorb everything!! I love teaching the skills my students need to develop their learning foundation. I do not have all the necessary and valuable tools and resources that my students need to help them succeed and grow in reading and math.
In order to help my students understand and succeed in school, I would like to use a variety of hands-on learning activities to teach the objectives. Some of the activities I would like to request for my students are: Make-A-Match Phonics Games, Alphabet Chants,and Word Detective Sliders. These activities would help my students fully grasp the basic concepts they need to know.
The activities I have chosen provide excellent learning manipulative's that children love to use to help them learn vital skills that are developmentally appropriate. These activities will help my kids understand reading and math much better. By enriching their reading and math education, I can prepare them to be independent readers and mathematicians.
