J.Crew Cares: Associate Matching Program 2013


In support of J.Crew’s commitment to public schools and education we are thrilled to launch of our second annual J.Crew Cares: Associate Giving Campaign with DonorsChoose.org . Through your generosity and participation in last year’s inaugural Associate Giving Campaign we were able to impact 75,000 students with the materials and experiences they need to thrive.


This year we hope to make an even larger impact in classrooms across the country. J.Crew will provide a 1:1 match on all associate donations—this means that for every penny you personally donate to DonorsChoose.org, J.Crew will donate the same amount.To add a competitive twist we have placed everyone on a team. At the end of the campaign we will have one winning team. The winning team will be determined by the number of associates that have donated--not by the dollar amount


Be part of this partnership by supporting a classroom project that inspires you, whether its books or beakers, in Harlem or Houston, for second graders or sophomores. Rally up your team and let’s provide students with the materials and experiences they need to thrive.


Here’s How:

  1. Find your team name below to connect directly to your giving page. (Need a reminder of your team?)

  2. Then choose a classroom project you'd like to support. You can choose to fund a project on your team's page, you can find your own project based on your interests, or if you don't want to shop at all, you can click "give to the most urgent project" and we'll distribute your donation.

  3. Proceed to check out as if making a regular donation. You can pay by credit card, PayPal or check.

  4. Enter the J. Crew promo code ”jcrewcares” in the box labeled 'match or gift code' and press 'apply.' This will enable DonorsChoose.org to apply the J.Crew company match.

Once you donate you'll get email updates on the project you choose, including photos of it taking place, and a results letter from the teacher.

And, remember, it’s about participation not the amount you give – so join in and give!.
