This year I will be teaching both virtually and in person. To provide better opportunities for my students receiving instruction and participating virtually I need a writing tablet to provide the same experience as in the classroom when I work side-by-side with a student or at the whiteboard. This will make it easier for students to follow along as I teach various skills to them: solving algebraic equations, completing geometry problems, brainstorming for language arts assignments, etc. Additionally I need bluetooth headphones that allow me to easily move around the classroom during the day and my home office when conducting sessions in the evening. The bluetooth headphones will also allow students to better hear what I am saying when I am further away from the camera. Likewise, I will be able to hear what my students are saying without them having to shout at their devices. The combination of a writing tablet and bluetooth headphones will allow me to better provide instruction to my virtual students. Removing the barriers of sound and sight will further create positive learning opportunities for my kids.
