Students will use these variety of seating options to optimize their learning. I believe that children should be aware of what strategies work best for them and that includes where they do their work. My students will be able to choose which type of seating works best for their individual learning style. Our classroom is full of moving bodies and these seating options allow for standing, sitting, and laying on the floor. They will be able to utilize a variety of desks and tables and sit in stools, chairs, and cushions. What works for one child might not work for another so I want there to be a variety of choices for my students to engage them in the best possible way.
