I work with 8 special needs students between the age of 15-20 years old with severe to profound disability. Their disability ranges from autism spectrum, visual impairment, emotional and intellectual disability. They are nonverbal and communicates primarily through gestures, pictures and sign language. Currently, we are starting our school year remotely. Distance learning will be a challenge but with technology and with support from the family and friends, we can make it work.

About my class
