The novel I am trying to purchase as a class set, "Front Desk" by Kelly Yang, is written by an immigrant with a mostly immigrant character list. I want my students to be able to read a currently published book that they can not only relate to, but to also see themselves as the main character and hero of the story. Please help my classroom get some new books...it really does make all the difference in the world! Please help our Title 1 class get the quality of books they deserve and need to grow in their learning and education.
