My name is Wendy Holguin, students call me Miss Wendy, and I currently work in the resource department at an elementary school in Las Vegas, NV. I am a certified children's yoga instructor. This will be our first year of having yoga classes offered to our students. Since we are in the beginning phases, we are in need of EVERYTHING. I am planning to have a class size of between 20 to 30 students. We need yoga mats, something to store them in, and a portable speaker to use indoor and hopefully outside too. Yoga has so many benefits like focusing, breathing, stress relief, and so much more. I am wanting to start my class soon to help our students with calming strategies and the testing coming up. My dream is to continue to instruct this yoga program for many years for our students. All these supplies will be reused and taken care of. My goal is to teach every student.
