The iPads will help supplement the learning that goes on in the classroom. Some of the students have struggle reading or writing out words and the iPad has assistive technology that can allow them to do some activities independently which fosters their confidence. There are many fun apps that are educationally based that they can utilize during centers. They can also learn to use the internet to search information for research based projects which is essential for the middle school environment they will be entering next year. Having iPads as a part of their daily class interaction will get them well versed in this part of 21st century living.
