My students are amazing children with autism. They are filled with character and color at the elementary grade level ages seven to ten. They deserve the best education possible with the desire to want to learn. They enjoy learning with fun activities in a center based classroom utilizing games, learning materials, technology, and books. My students want to be engaged in their learning as their social, emotional, academic and sensory needs are being met. My school believes that our children learn best through multiple pathways to learning utilizing different resources, materials and technology to enhance student engagement to maximize learning. We do not have a math program that meets each of my students' differentiated needs. One math program is not enough to give my students the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. It is essential for my classroom to have multiple resources, so my students can have the opportunity to acquire and build on their mathematical skills!
About my class
