Encouraging students to read is one of the most important parts of being a good teacher, but what happens when you don't have enough books? Each of the books that I've requested will fulfill a need within my classroom, whether it is for students' free reading, research, critical analysis of literature, or vocabulary building and language skills. Opening up the world of literature to students is essential to their development as students, citizens, and lifelong learners. Our school does not have a library for our students, so having these books available will be a tremendously helpful resource. These books will be used on a daily basis to help students with classroom assignments, activities, and literacy.
