Participate to deepen awareness of our natural world and encourage children to appreciate their surroundings. The community of PS 220 is supportive in providing a sanctuary to wonder, ponder and allow children to see transformations. We can inspire children to transform a barren space by bringing life into it. A living wall ( vertical garden) or flower beds built from scratch can motivate, and allow all participants to be vested in sustaining this project. This garden will awaken and promote a healthier lifestyle. The garden will allow interaction between humans and other living things. It will bring about an appreciation and understanding of how precious our plants are. On behalf of PS 220 q Edward Mandel we hope you share our vision and sense our commitment to promoting a deeper appreciation of our natural resources.
