Technology is one way that we can open the world to our students. Often my students can not connect to their reading texts because of lack of exposure and background knowledge. They will be able to use these tablets to find answers to their questions and even experience events, and places virtually. Students will use these iPad tablets with protective cases during independent reading, writing and math centers as well. This technology will be used expand their world, so they can see many possibilities that exist beyond our classroom walls. My hope is as they read, wonder, think and learn, they will begin to DREAM.
