I teach middle school English in a Title 1 district. Finding a way to reach my students can sometimes be difficult without technology. However, Chromebook integration would give highly-engaging opportunities that would encourage students to want to become writers in a technology-driven world. Being on a Title I campus, many of my students do not have access to technology outside of school. Our district is advocating for 21st century learning and technology-driven classrooms. However, resources are limited, and therefore, must be shared. This means access to technology can sometimes be difficult. I have very appreciative students that will love having this new computer access in the classroom on a daily basis. The truth is, when students can expand their learning with endless possibilities, they will show you amazing results.
