The Richard Wright School is adding general music as a part of their learning experience as of March 2023! Since this is a brand new curriculum, the students are in desperate need of functioning instruments for the remainder of the school year. I have the privilege to redesign a large, empty space and turn it into a music room with ample amount of open space to explore music through Dalcroze and Orff style teaching. Also, I plan to add new instruments from places such as Southern America, West Africa, and Asia, as well as traditional instruments commonly found in Western music. By supporting our classroom, you are giving approximately 330 students the opportunity to explore music in ways some have never experienced before!
