At the moment, there are not enough tables on our campus for all classrooms. In a math class, students need the time to collaborate in order to fully grasp a conceptual understanding of their lessons. When you have desks that only allow a student one entry/exit, it makes it difficult for them to be put into groups. By donating to this project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. My students need the chance to be as successful as possible. By having tables, they have the opportunity to use the space they need to work together in an environment that fosters learning. They will be noticeably more engaged in their tasks.
