Incentives for students motivate them to be more productive because they create a feeling of pride and achievement. Being successful makes you happy. Every success story helps students become more self-confident. They are proud and also encouraged to achieve another successful result. Students receive "Gotchas" when they make a good choice in the classroom, cafeteria, playground and other areas in the school. They get excited about the drawing on Friday's because they know there are some amazing prizes to claim at the table! I greet the students every morning in the hallway on their way to class, and they all get motivated when they see the prizes available at the prize table!
