The Chromebooks that I have requested already have a purpose.  Having Chromebooks in the classroom will allow our students to work in any part of our robotics labs.  This will allow our students to be able to not only draw out their design ideas and take pictures of their projects from a variety of angles, but it will also give them the ability to take notes in real-time.  The proficiency of Chromebooks will make every part of their documentation process significantly easier and faster.  When you empower students with the technology they need to succeed it is like watching Da Vinci working on a masterpiece.  The implementation of Chromebooks and the variety of platforms that can be used with this type of software would be advantageous for our students in numerous ways.
