The student's in our school are creative, imaginative, and confident. They delve into spooky stories, lose themselves in books about mythology, and seek out stories about the great people in history who have lived before them. They crave to use and experience new technologies but many of them do not even have access to a single computer. Our school community is supportive and positive. We focus on science, technology, and character building activities. Students enter the school as Pre-K stay until they are in 5th grade. This builds a tight knit community and perfect platform for reinforcing knowledge. While my school's focus is on science and technology, we have fallen behind the curve. The students have grown past the technology that we currently have available and need a better means to explore the world around them.
