My elementary school is an urban school in the heart of Tulsa. One of the biggest challenges we face in our school is getting technology in the hands of our students. Most of our students come from a home environment in which they have little to no technology. In today's world if we aren't teaching them to properly use technology then we are doing them a disservice. The problem is getting our hands on the resources to do it. I have slowly starting teaching my students coding. It has opened their minds to a world of possibilities they didn't know existed. They love using computers to create projects. I know that they will love learning to program Spheros all while integrating math and science into their coding.
