Unfortunately, our lower socioeconomic Title I school has little to no budget for furniture or facilities. New science equipment will go a long way in establishing a fun and safe cooperative learning environment in my science classroom. Also, having new science equipment is necessary for my students to perform hands-on lab activities. I would like to foster an environment for student collaboration and discourse that will develop 21st century skills that my students will need to be adequately prepared for college and work.

About my class
