Children need classrooms that are inspiring and cultivate a growth mind set environment. The walls of my classroom are a soothing lavender and blue, with flexible seating options. I teach 4th grade math & science at a PreK-8th grade diverse school of the arts. My lessons are infused with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). My teaching method is very hands-on. On any given day, you will see my students using manipulatives for math and labs for science because I believe hands-on learning creates memorable experiences that will stay with them. My classroom is a safe place where I believe that every student can reach their own individual potential.
