Teen girls need emotional strengthening and encouragement. Today’s teen girls are full of the wrong type of energy. They're emotional and attitudinal. To reach freedom from societies' book of dreams and images, they need help in creating their own dreams and ways of making it a reality. I believe that when a girl feels empowered in her own self, she will use that power to make a difference in her self and others. As a team, together we can create a safe, nourishing atmosphere where the teen girls will feel comfortable. My goal is to help elevate young girls to successful levels by creating a program that values sisterhood among the girls. The program will consist of girls from many different nationalities and backgrounds. The program will be designed to create a bond of security and trust, as well as one that listens and supports. The plan is to have two retreats. Retreat #1 is for greet and meet. Retreat #2 will be to invite the mothers or guardians of the girls and begin a building and strengthening relationship. The Scholastic magazines will be the introduction to helping to build self-esteem, a positive self-image, morals, values, honesty, integrity, compassion and empathy. By donating to this project, you would help teach young ladies the significance of morals, ethics and values and what it takes to be successful in society.
