The best learning in my 4th and 5th grade combo classroom happens when students can get up and move. By using the wobble stools, balance balls and other types of flexible furniture I am requesting, students are able to find the best place for them to learn and concentrate. Many kids need to wiggle while they learn. My 4th and 5th grade students are constantly wiggling, rocking on their chairs, kneeling on their chairs or standing. They love to sit in different places in the room that allow them to wiggle in order to focus. My one fit board is constantly used by students all day long.
