At Riverside University High School, our student body represents a diverse cross-section the city as a whole. My classes specifically serve students from 9th-12th grades, in Restorative Practices, Ethnic Studies and History of Rap. In each of these classes, students will develop the ability to critique systems of power and oppression on top of the expected academic standards within social studies. At the same time, I hope that students will develop the ability to self-reflect, and consider how they interact with others in their communities.
