We are looking to gain enough funding to purchase a greenhouse for the science club/science department at Winslow High School. Our school has a substantial amount of diversity on campus being off of the Indigenous reservations lands. We are looking to bring greater education experiences to our low-income community. This greenhouse will be used as a community greenhouse for those attending WHS as active members in the Science Club. We will be learning best planting/growing practices and also plant propagation using substances such as Auxins. This will also teach the students the power of being patient with science and learning that the best outcomes and results come only after hard work is applied.
