The students at WWHS come to us from various parts of Los Angeles. They have been unsuccessful in a traditional high school for different reasons, and come to us primarily for credit recovery. Some felt unsafe or uncomfortable in the larger schools and chose to come here. Most improve their skills, attendance, and self-esteem in this smaller environment. I find the students to be determined, creative, caring and humorous! Our school culture is calm and accepting of all students. We are committed to creating an environment that promotes pride, individuality, and achievement.

About my class
