Our students began a food delivery service for faculty and staff and are expanding the business to include creating and printing merchandise. These are students with various disabilities working together for their future. The students handle every aspect of the business - named the business, designed the logo, send all communication, collect/count money, complete required documentation, to name a few duties. By donating to our project(s), you will be helping to increase their independence and employ-ability skills. They will be able to learn skills that will assist them in obtaining jobs and careers, self advocate, have new outlets to express themselves and learn new skills. My students overcome daily challenges due to their disabilities and constantly strive to do better and overcome obstacles. They do not let their disabilities define them and they are shining lights.
