Students will be able to access a model which will help them fully understand how both water and humans are a powerful force in environmental change. Students will be able to discuss current issues such as flooding and determine solutions. Students will also examine the global water crises. The stream table will enable them to look at multiple scenarios and apply fixes from dams to habitat recovery. This stream table perfectly supports new Science Standards (NGSS) and will be valuable in examining California's unique water needs, problems, and solutions. The stream table will support their ability to understand and also to apply scientific principles in class.
