My students learn best in a comfortable yet fun learning environment. I asked my students what would they change about my class and they requested more ways to make Language Arts hands on and fun. A lot of my students do not come with the necessary materials needed to be successful and I am hopeful that the things on this list help us all be successful together. Simple things like paper and pencils are some items my students just do not have. They need the items take notes and writing assignments. The printer will help with printing out materials for students who need information in front of them for extra help. My students love to do presentations and posters, chart paper, and art supplies will help them with their creativity. We use a lot of technology and headphones will help them be able to work independently. All these materials are here to make them more successful. The label covers are for the desk to stop the spread of COVID-19 to do contact tracing. Masks are essential because a lot of the students come to school without masks or they break them. After the hurricane, my students' spirit was just not the same. I feel as if this opportunity will help them see the light that learning can bring to their life.
