Because we are in our third year and do not receive teacher fee money, we have run out of critical art supplies. We need new paint, paper, tape, glue and other basic items. We also need new rhythm sticks to complete our classroom set so we can all enjoy rhythm stick time together. The arts are an important part of daily Pre-K learning. Not only does it help develop fine motor skills, thinking skills, and creativity, our children love to create and share art. Also, we need rhythm sticks to complete our classroom set. At this time some of us are having to use Lincoln Logs as rhythm sticks so we can all have music together. If we had a few more sticks we would have a full classroom set.
