I will be teaching a 1st-grade classroom this year. Many of my students are hard-working and critical thinkers. They love to be challenged and have hands-on activities. They express beautiful ideas when speaking in class. My students have great attitudes and want to learn. They need additional tools to do so. Many students are economically disadvantaged where they receive free breakfast and lunch. The students' families do not have the resources to spend money on the most basic supplies for school. I spend a great deal of my resources to supply the children with the materials they need.
