I am a teacher at an inner city school in California. The student population is extremely diverse with a large English Learner population, and 100% Title 1 (free and reduced lunch). With a college prep focus, my students come excited to learn and hungry for knowledge and interaction. They work hard, and their results show this. Our school has had a 72 point API gain over the last 3 years, and has shown strong commitment to increasing student achievement. My students love virtual stimulation and jump at the chance to use technology of any kind in the classroom setting.
