I have created lessons that I will use in this "Break Out" format throughout the year. Students will have to use their creative thinking skills, they will have to collaborate and communicate with one another. One lesson includes being a good Digital Citizen, by being aware of cyber bullying, having secure passwords, and being safe with giving out information concerning their identity. Another lesson at the beginning of the year would get them use to reading and following a schedule for each of their class periods, decoding cryptograms to identify faculty members and knowing the rules. Lessons are unlimited and will be addressed in a fun, hands on way. Students will have to solve the lessons to be able to unlock all of the codes that are programmed in their locks. Each hasp will have a directional lock, a word lock, directional lock and a number lock. The answer may be as simple as the room number they are in to the last name of their teacher. It could be as hard as figuring out the directional arrows found in a puzzle.
