I can already see one of my students actively using a stability ball during instruction, but staying completely focused. I see another curled up in the corner with a pillow and a lap desk, because she feels most comfortable on the floor. The possibilities will be endless for my students once we have access to these flexible seating options. Pillows and lap desk for floor lovers, stability balls and wobble stools for movers and shakers, small camp chairs for those that like to curl up. I can see it now -- all SORTS of movement happening in front of me, but increased participation, engagement and focus. The trade-off will be well worth it!
