My students are a fantastic bunch of 6th graders from all walks of life and socioeconomic status. I have a large population of students who receive free and reduced lunch, and students with special needs who can all call my classroom a safe place to learn about science. Our school strives to foster a love of learning in every student; and my classroom is a place where students are challenged to learn not what to think but HOW to think. Students are encouraged to think and ask questions, and I try to provide hands on opportunities to allow for students to be able to act upon their inquisitive nature. At our school we make sure all students have an equal opportunity to find their "spark" and nurture it no matter what their background. My students are CHAMPIONS of hard work, enthusiastic and have big dreams! We are very grateful for your donations that help provide supplies to make dreams become realities! Thank you!
