Picture this, a classroom with hand-me-down bookshelves, many of which are made out of old milk crates and zip-tied together. The backs are falling off, the shelves are chipped, and some are even sagging. This is the reality of our classroom library. The physical set-up of a classroom is important because it is the first thing a student sees when they walk in. Factors such as unorganized bookshelves, unruly desks, and excess clutter can all make a difference… and not for the better. A messy, unorganized classroom also creates a sense of instability. It is important to keep a tidy classroom​ and to appropriately utilize space as well. With your help, we can have new bookshelves that will safely hold our books and store our materials. We won't have to worry about them falling apart or having an unorganized classroom.
