My students need two adjustable workstations that will allow them to sit or stand while learning. Students have a wide range of learning needs that can include adjustments to the learning environment. Adjustable desks provide an option for active students to work, focus on learning, and remain engaged while providing them an option beyond the traditional classroom desk. The addition of these desks to my classroom will provide a new set of options for students to customize the setting in which they learn to maximize their success. Sitting still can be the greatest challenge in the classroom for active students. I see students with a great desire to learn and succeed. It can be overwhelming when the only obstacle in their path is trouble remaining in a seated position. This furniture will be game changing for students in my classroom.
