These materials will be used to give students the opportunities to read about meaningful characters that look like them and demonstrate their understanding of literacy skills in more diverse and artistic ways. They will also be utilized to help students engage in team-building and discourse. Essentially, my goal is to increase engagement in an array of learning activities centered on language and literature. The copy paper will be used to print both fiction and nonfiction texts so that students are able to annotate on their own copies to facilitate students’ intellectual conversations with texts.

About my class
