Why try to explain miracles to your kids when you can just have them plant a garden. -Robert Brault. We had the craziest weather ever this past winter. We were trying to begin clearing the abandoned garden (which was now basically weeds) to see what we needed to do. Seventeen enthusiastic 7th graders came out in the cold and got to work! That was my miracle! Their excitement was contagious and inspiring. Now we have come to the part where we need help. Our vision is to have a fully functioning garden with rain barrel, compost, bee hive (stingless of course). We have beds but we need heavy equipment to level the area and we need topsoil. This garden will not only benefit the middle schools, but invitations will be extended to the elementary schools to come visit, learn, adopt a bed, the list is endless. The students named the garden "Gardening with Science" with the motto "Changing the world one plant at a time!"
