Many apps that are available on an iPad are made in an educational game format, which keeps students engaged and excited to learn. Additionally, an iPad would be used to cater to every type of learner: auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. Using an iPad mini on a daily basis, my students would use innovative and engaging apps to reinforce the Reading and Math Common Core State Standards.  Additionally, this iPad will provide a way to formatively assess student growth more efficiently and provide immediate feedback. Overall, this iPad will give these low-income students access to new technology and technological programs that will improve their Reading and Math skills.
